Technical Information

Steinle’s Multidrop™ & BioTek™ Cassettes
Lifetime of cassettes

There are different factors to consider, which can influence the EOL:

  • Proper maintenance (cleaning, autoclaving, drying, etc.).
  • Keeping reagents, cassettes, and the environment free from particles and dust which can lead to clogs.
  • Having the cassettes under tension when not in use (better use the rest position).
  • Dispensing different reagents with one cassette (better dedicate one cassette to each liquid).
  • Dispensing reagents with properties that differ from water (ethanol, DMSO, glycerol).
  • Proper recalibration of the cassette.
  • Having a low, medium, or high throughput.
  • It is recommended to use cassettes within 1 year, securing an accurate calibration.

Warranty
Dispensing cassettes are consumables and therefore only have a limited warranty in case of malfunction.
The warranty is valid from the date you received the product, till 90 days after.

Repair or substitution is guaranteed through Steinle Labtechnology after receipt of dysfunctional product(s).
The warranty isn’t valid in case of product misuse or unusual and destructive treatment.

Calibration
All Steinle Cassettes come calibrated and ready to use including a calibration report.
A recalibration should be performed once a month or if left under tension for a prolonged period.

Autoclavability
Standard tube: 50 times (1 bar pressure at 121°C for 20 minutes).
Small tube: 10 times (1 bar pressure at 121°C for 20 minutes)

Origin of Products
Steinle Labtechnology independently develops and manufactures exclusive and compatible versions for Multidrop® & BioTek® Dispenser.

All products are originated quality made in Germany.
